Location: Eindhoven
The main focus of the Sales Director is to win profitable large global clients and to identify and achieve business development for IFS Benelux.
The job will focus on:
  • Facilitate and lead the Sales and Presales team to increase sales revenues

  • Identification, analysis and development of market potential for IFS Benelux

  • Winning new, profitable business for IFS (new sales and existing accounts)

  • Cooperate with Marketing team and realize alignment in order to achieve commercial results

  • Key responsible and accountable for revenue growth in licenses and services

You will lead, manage and coach the team as a true sales leader in order to achieve the year’s sales targets and pave the road for a successful, productive Sales team, where fun is also important. You will be responsible for coaching, performance management, and career development of staff.

You will initiate and maintain customer relations at executive level, develop and implement a customer centric sales strategy to deliver results. You support the Sales team in drawing up the annual business, accounts and prospect plans for the allocated segments of IFS and facilitate the team in implementing and realizing plans and objectives. You keep a close eye on market developments in order to identify new opportunities and to respond quickly and strategically. Ensure Sales and Marketing alignment and facilitate a smooth cooperation so that both teams reinforce each other.


Requirements & Skills

  • Minimum of 10+ years proven success in licenses sales in the software industry, at least in ERP, and in new customer business
  • Knowledge and experience with ERP, EAM is an advantage
  • Proven ability to lead and supervise sales team in all areas of the sales cycle
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as a goal-oriented
  • Experience with complex sales processes and able to build valuable relationships quickly
  • Interested in people and business, and familiar with sales processes and methods, such as Customer Centric Selling
  • Independent, able to persuade and influence thinking, adopting and responding to change
  • Excellent ability to negotiate price, other concessions and terms and conditions.
  • Result driven, entrepreneurial and meeting customer expectations and commercial thinking
  • Deciding and initiating actions, relating and networking
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills (Dutch and English)
